The Huntingtower Sports and Aquatic Centre opened in 2011 and is comprised of an eight lane, 25m training pool and a 12.5m teaching pool. The centre runs Learn To Swim (LTS) classes and a Squad Pathway program for all ages. All classes are open to the public as well as the Huntingtower school community.



Learn to Swim Program

The Learn To Swim (LTS) program consists of 6 levels that are specifically designed to ensure that each student will graduate the class with the skills they need for the next levels, and proficiency in elements of water safety. The LTS program is targeted at children from 3+.

Water Discovery

Eyes and bubbles
Assisted front float

Squad Pathway Program

The Squad Pathway program has been designed to provide a training group which will tailor to all athletes. Whether it be swimming to compete, swimming to maintain technique or simply swimming for fitness and fun, there is a squad designed to cater for a range of goals and abilities. The Squad Pathway is broken up into competitive and non-competitive squads. There is no age restriction for the Squad Pathway program, however swimmers must be beyond an LTS 5 level.

HT Swim Club

Join the HT Swim Club!

The HT Swim Club is organised by our wonderful HSAC staff, under the direction of our HSAC Manager, Megan Rogers. If you are a competitive swimmer in our Squad Pathway Program, join us to compete in club and state competitions. 



School Swimming

We currently have availability for school group bookings during the week. Our School Swimming program focuses on both water safety (as per the Victorian Water Safety Certificate program) and swimming strokes. Students will be educated in water activities, swimming development and survival skills and will receive a report and certificate on their progress at the conclusion of the program.
