On Tuesday the 20th of March, Huntingtower held its Senior School Athletics Carnival at the Knoxfield Athletics Track. What a day! Couldn't have asked for better weather, there was sun, smiles and lots to celebrate as the students put on their running shoes and competed in track and field events. There were so many brilliant performances, lots of broken records and even a teachers relay for the first time ever!
Warrell bested the competition on the day and earned their victory through high participation numbers and great individual sprints, relays and field results!
The overall places were:
1st - Warrell - 2601
2nd - Mather - 2460
3rd - Bruce - 2430
4th - Rayner - 2253
Congratulations to all the age champions and record setters, and to all the students for their amazing efforts!
Also thanks go to the House Captains for their leadership and support, as well as Track and Field Coaches, Heads of House, Sport Staff, Ms Beal, Mrs Hender, Mrs Buhagiar, Mrs Deubel and Mrs Lath - who all made the event possible!
